On 14 May 2024, an award ceremony was held in Yerevan, Armenia, as part of the information session of the EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP). The event took place during the 33rd EBRD Annual Meeting and Business Forum, where Bank CenterCredit was awarded as the Most Active Issuing Bank in Kazakhstan. The winners of the award are selected by the EBRD based on the number of transactions made under the TFP.

Bank CenterCredit has been a participating bank of the EBRD’s TFP Programme for many years as both a letter of credit issuing and confirming bank, which offers its customers and counterparties a unique opportunity to reduce the cost of trade finance products.
Under the TFP Programme, the EBRD provides guarantees to international commercial banks, thereby covering the political and payment risks of transaction undertaken by Bank CenterCredit in the EBRD regions of operation.
Bank CenterCredit jointly with the EBRD works on all types of trade finance instruments, such as letters of credit, standby letters of credit, counter-guarantees and guarantees. These instruments can be used to support imports and exports of all types of goods.
