Bank CenterCredit has participated in the implementation of the National Project “Modernisation of the Energy and Utilities Sectors” (MEKS), supporting a power supply initiative in Shymkent.
JSC Kazakhstan Housing Company (a subsidiary of JSC National Investment Holding Baiterek) approved the subsidization of the loan in the amount of KZT 2.5 bln with Ontustik Zharyk Transit LLP acting as the borrower. The project is being implemented with the support of Bank CenterCredit.
As part of the project, 35 kV and 0.4 kV overhead power transmission lines will be reconstructed, significantly enhancing the reliability of electricity supply for city residents.
The project is being implemented under a loan subsidization mechanism designed for second-tier banks that provide financing to private subjects of natural monopolies. Bank CenterCredit serves as a bridge between government programmes and businesses, ensuring that private enterprises have access to infrastructure financing.
