Bank CenterCredit Organized an ESG-Focused Training in Astana

A training session titled “ESG: Trends, Practice, Opportunities” was held in Astana. The event brought together business representatives and experts from Bank CenterCredit, KPMG Caucasus and Central Asia, the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), the AIFC Green Finance Centre, and the AIFC Financial Services Regulatory Committee (AFSA). The training was organized by the Sustainable Development Center of Bank CenterCredit in cooperation with the branch of JSC “Bank CenterCredit” at the AIFC.

During the training, key ESG trends, practical sustainable finance instruments, and opportunities for companies amid increasing sustainable development requirements were discussed. Special attention was paid to the role of financial institutions in supporting the ESG agenda and to the practical application of responsible finance instruments.

The training was held in a hybrid format (offline and online). Offline participants received personalized certificates from Bank CenterCredit.

“Bank CenterCredit is one of the leaders in implementing ESG risk management practices. For us, such events provide an opportunity to share accumulated experience and practical solutions with partners and colleagues. We thank KPMG, the AIFC, and AFSA for supporting this initiative—thanks to their participation, the event was informative and comprehensive,” said Arnur Ibrayev, Head (CSO) of the Sustainable Development Center.
