On 8 May 2026, Bank CenterCredit will transition to the new ISO 20022 standard for exchanging payment information as part of the global migration. It replaces the legacy SWIFT MT format and enables data to be transmitted in a more accurate and structured format.
ISO 20022 is a unified international language for financial messaging used by banks and payment systems worldwide. The new format allows to transmit richer payment information, reduces errors and returns, and speeds up the processing of cross-border transfers.
As part of the transition to the new standard, additional information will be required when making foreign currency transfers: the recipient’s country of residence and the recipient’s full address (country, city, street, building number, etc.). In the bcc.kz app, these fields will become mandatory to be filled in.
We recommend checking the accuracy of the payer’s and recipient’s details in advance and confirming the recipient’s full address. During the transition period, temporary technical limitations may occur, including brief system or service unavailability.
Migration to ISO 20022 makes cross-border payments faster, more accurate, and more transparent by providing a single data exchange standard for banks worldwide.
