Head of BCC participated in a panel session on ESG at the XII Congress of the Kazakhstan Financial Professionals

On November 15, 2024, the XII Congress of Kazakhstan Financial Professionals took place in Almaty, organized by the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan with the support of the National Bank and the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market (Agency). Representatives of leading financial institutions, discussing key issues of sustainable development and the implementation of ESG principles, attended the event.

The President of Bank CenterCredit, Ruslan Vladimirov, spoke at the panel session "ESG in the Financial Sector: Expectations, Results, Forecasts" as part of the Congress program. The Chairperson of the Agency Madina Abylkassymova moderated the session. She emphasized the relevance of ESG in the context of global challenges, including climate change, increased investment in sustainable projects and the development of international green financing standards.

In his report, Ruslan Vladimirov noted the importance of legislative initiatives and the implementation of ESG standards by the regulator. He shared the results of the ESG transformation project of Bank CenterCredit and outlined the bank's priorities in this area for the medium term. The President of BCC also emphasized the importance of cooperation between government agencies, financial institutions and businesses to create incentive mechanisms that facilitate the implementation of sustainable projects.

The session was attended by experts from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken". During the discussion, they noted the importance of ESG principles for attracting investment, as well as the need to increase awareness and interest of businesses in sustainable development.


The XII Congress of Kazakhstan Financial Professionals became a platform for discussing current issues and finding effective solutions in the field of ESG and green financing. Bank CenterCredit continues to follow the sustainable development strategy, contributing to building an environmentally and socially responsible future for the country.
