ESG Assessment Training: Building Expertise in Sustainable Development

On August 6, 2025 the ESG team conducted an offline training session titled “What is an ESG Assessment and Why It Matters” for colleagues from the Corporate Finance Center.

During the training, participants thoroughly examined the following issues:

— updated requirements for borrowers’ ESG assessments;
— tools and approaches for conducting assessments;
— principles of green financing and the role of ESG factors in decision-making;
— application of Kazakhstan’s Green Taxonomy in client work.

In addition to the theoretical part, the participants worked on practical cases, where they evaluated companies from an ESG perspective based on real situations and discussed the results.
