Bank CenterCredit has become a laureate of the annual Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Annual Reports Competition in the category “Best Sustainability Report 2024 in the Financial Sector.”

The high recognition from the professional community confirms Bank CenterCredit’s systematic work to enhance transparency, quality of disclosure, and consistent integration of sustainability principles and ESG approaches into the bank’s business processes.

The competition is held annually by KASE and aims to improve the quality of non-financial and ESG reporting among companies whose securities are traded on the exchange. Its goal is to recognize organizations demonstrating high transparency, completeness of disclosure, and commitment to best corporate governance practices.

Participants’ reports are evaluated by independent experts and professional community representatives based on several criteria, including quality of ESG information disclosure, reporting structure, data completeness, and compliance with international practices. Bank CenterCredit’s 2024 report demonstrated consistent progress in key ESG areas, including development of “green” financing, climate risk management, corporate governance improvement, and strengthening of social agenda.

“This award is not just recognition of the work we have done, but also an additional incentive to continue developing. We continue to improve sustainability management practices, enhance performance indicators, and strengthen ESG integration into the bank’s strategy,” said Chief Sustainability Officer of Bank CenterCredit JSC, Arnur Ibraev.
