💵 The KZT exchange rate continues to strengthen steadily. Today, it decreased 1.05%, reaching 498.90. The trading volume amounted to USD 311 million.
The USD/KZT exchange rate decrease also coincides with the USD weakening in the global market.
The U.S. Dollar Index (DXY), which tracks the performance of the US dollar against six major currencies, drops below 108.00.
After yesterday’s DXY rise driven by the release of January Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, the US dollar reversed course following a phone call between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding possible negotiations on the war in Ukraine. 👨💼
