Bank CenterCredit has supported the republication of the novel Elen-Alan by the prominent Kazakh writer Abish Kekilbayev in the Kazakh language. A total of 8,100 copies of the book were published. Of these, 110 copies will be donated to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 100 copies to the National Academic Library of Kazakhstan, and the remaining copies will be distributed among universities nationwide.
Elen-Alan is one of the most significant works of Kazakh literature, dedicated to the era of Abulkhair Khan and recounting the pivotal decisions that shaped the destiny of the Kazakh people. The novel intertwines historical narratives with reflections on leadership, responsibility, and the fate of the nation.
“The donation of Abish Kekilbayev’s work Elen-Alan to Kazakhstani universities is an important contribution to preserving and promoting our cultural heritage. These books will help students gain a deeper understanding of the history, values, and spiritual foundations of our people. I would like to express my gratitude to Bank CenterCredit for its social responsibility and support of education. I am confident that this initiative will foster young people’s interest in national literature and contribute to strengthening the country’s intellectual potential,” commented Talgat Yeshenkulov, Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education.
“We are pleased to contribute to the preservation and promotion of Kazakh literature. History and historical books provide the fundamental knowledge that each of us needs. We believe that young people at universities across Kazakhstan will be keen to explore this part of our nation’s history,” noted Nurlan Shegebaev, Vice President at Bank CenterCredit.
For many years, Bank CenterCredit has consistently supported educational and cultural initiatives, regularly participated in book publishing, and maintained its own corporate library. This project continues that tradition.
